Job Overview
Are you a detail-oriented web editor with a passion for crafting engaging digital experiences?
We’re looking for a passionate Web Editor to join our team and play a key role in shaping the online presence of a major editorial company for the risk management industry. If you have a knack for editing and packaging creating content in Wordpress that captivates and informs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a Web Editor, you’ll be curating and optimizing content to keep our website fresh, engaging, and effective. You’ll manage content through WordPress, work alongside designers to enhance user experience, and help bring our content strategy to life. No need to be an SEO expert—we’re happy to provide training. We’re looking for someone with great editorial skills, an eye for detail, and a collaborative spirit. This is a part time, freelance position. There will be 2+ days in presence in Rome and the rest remote work.
Responsibilities
Content Management:
- Update and manage the website using WordPress.
- Organize and categorize content for intuitive navigation.
- Create unique “packages” of content and features to keep the site fresh
Content Strategy:
- Collaborate with the content team to develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and propose innovative content ideas.
User Experience (UX):
- Ensure the website delivers a positive user experience through well-structured, visually appealing, and accessible content.
- Partner with web designers to enhance site usability.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt writing styles to different platforms and target audiences.
- Proven experience in web editing, content creation, or a related role
- Proficiency in WordPress.
Preferred:
- Basic knowledge of SEO (training available).
- Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Experience with HTML/CSS, graphic design, and video editing tools a plus.
