case study | Bulgari Hotels

How it began

We had the fortune to work with this stunning jewel of a brand for several years.  The sites – one for each hotel property – were elegant and luxurious to begin with, but the organization lacked a point person for their web presence. Rome Design Agency was brought on to unify the branding across all hotel properties through the websites and social media streams.

What the agency did

Here is where mother-tongue English became vital, as the collaboration for this project involved teams and agencies in five countries. The key component provided by my agency was establishing a globally unified strategy for the online presence of this luxury business. Working with their extraordinary team, we identified an area of their site that could be transformed into a non-static, upbeat stream of content: a sort of “blog” focused on the hotel’s local cultural scene.

The Result

The result of the blog became their current iteration, called “What’s On.” This aspect is both a locally relevant and globally consistent feature across their international locations and websites. Now, visitors to the site are instantly tuned into the local events, whether they are visiting a location in Milan, London, or Dubai. After our addition, the client now can easily maintain this seamlessly integrated stream of content.
